The Ramapo Safety Initiative is an independent, non-partisan, resident-led civic project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or funded by the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York State, any political party, or any political candidate.
Public records & source data
Meeting agendas, minutes, hearing notices, and addresses shown on this Site are drawn from public records published by the Town of Ramapo and its official meeting portal. These are public records under the New York State Open Meetings Law (Public Officers Law §§ 100–111) and Freedom of Information Law (§§ 84–90). We mirror them for civic-engagement purposes and link back to the original source wherever possible.
The Initiative does not alter the substance of any public document it mirrors. If a document is updated or removed by the Town, we aim to refresh our copy on our next scheduled sync.
Accuracy
We do our best to keep information current, but hearings can be rescheduled, addresses can be corrected, and agenda items can change with little notice. Always verify meeting times, agenda items, and addresses on the official Town of Ramapo website (ramapo.org) or the official meeting portal before acting on them.
